The purpose of the Fiscal Accountability Policy is to provide a framework for the Board of Library Trustees and Staff for the fiscal operations of the Library, to assure sound fiscal management and to outline responsibilities for management of the Library’s public funds.
This Debt Management Policy defines authority, parameters, methods, and responsibilities for issuing and managing debt of the library. This Policy recognizes a commitment to full and timely repayment of all debt. Adherence to this Policy helps the District maintain a sound debt position and protect the District’s credit quality.
This Policy governs when and under what circumstances alcoholic liquors may be delivered to and sold at retail in Library Buildings. This Alcohol Policy is written pursuant to the Illinois Liquor Control Act of 1934, 235 ILCS 5/1 et seq., to allow the delivery and sale of alcoholic liquors at any building owned by the library during fundraising events or programs of a cultural or educational nature, with advance approval by the Library Board of Trustees. The Act authorizes the delivery and sale of alcoholic liquor in a building owned by the Library in accordance with this Policy.
Personally identifiable information about library users must be kept confidential in accordance with the Illinois Records Confidentiality Act 75 ILSC 70/1-2.(”the Act”).
