Poetry_Foundation_Table_Display
The Poetry Foundation was founded in 2003. It is free and open to the public. They have a wonderful collection of poetry, anthologies, literature about poetry and poets, as well as literary magazines. Librarian Katherine Litwin helps to maintain the collection and there is also wonderful passive programming and a great area with poetry books for children.
Fox River Grove_Staff
Fox River Grove Memorial Library serves a district even smaller than their town of 4,000 residents—but that doesn’t limit their ability to create a lively space for their community.
The lower-level children’s section is decorated from top to bottom for summer reading and cloud covers hang over the ceiling lights, making it even more accessible to patrons who may be sensitive to fluorescents. Log books from NASA will soon be on display, as well as some watches that real astronauts use during their training.
