The Parlin-Ingersoll Public Library in Canton, Illinois helps community members grow. It’s so much more than books—it’s where they can get help to attain citizenship, apply for social security, study for their GEDs, and just have fun.
An endowment fund established in 1958 keeps the library well-stocked with the latest bestsellers (cookbooks and mysteries are a must in this community). Adults gather to crochet every week, middle schoolers pour into their dedicated tween space, and kids explore with Wonderbooks and STEM Kits.
At Parlin-Ingersoll, there’s something for everybody.
