Librarians and library staff who run programming for seniors/older adults in public libraries, please join us for the inaugural meeting of the Programming for Seniors in Public Libraries networking group!
Programming for older adults can be challenging as they are a varied and often overlooked group. During these meetings, we will share ideas addressing all facets of programming, including outside presenters, governmental organizations, resources for seniors, and how to create opportunities for socialization, and the physical, emotional and mental well-being for our senior populations.
The meetings will be held quarterly on the first Friday of the month from 10-11:00 am via Zoom. The first meeting will be held on Friday, December 1; please see the L2 calendar to register.
Additionally, a new Senior RAILS List Serv email has been created to share ideas. Please subscribe at: LISTSERV@LIST.RAILSLIBRARIES.ORG and in the body of the email enter: subscribe seniors FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
