Circulation policy, renamed.
Our shelving manual has been adapted from many of the libraries who have kindly published theirs online.
We buy relatively inexpensive locks and lanyard and check each set out till the end of that day (so no parking overnight, in theory). Our bike rack is about 10 feet from our outside bookdrop, so they can just drop the key and lock in there when they leave. There's a generic bib record in the catalog, which is suppressed from public searching.
