Updates to World Language Cataloging Submission Form

We are happy to report several changes made to our submission form.

In order to streamline the submission process for large batches of items, the following fields will now be auto populated from the last form submission:

  • Method of Sending Item
  • Phone
  • Return to Library Building
  • Delivery Code
  • Mailing/Delivery Address
  • Call Number
  • Subject Headings
  • Other Cataloging Specifications

The following fields will continue to auto populate with information drawn from the user profile

  • Owning Library
  • Staff Contact Name
  • Email

All other fields which contain item-specific information will still need to be filled in for each individual submission.

We have also added an additional field to request that 520 summary fields be added to the record. These fields can be added in the language of the text, in English, or in both. Please note that 520 fields must be specifically requested to be added to a record.
