Voting is now open for the 2026 RAILS Board Election! Members may cast their ballot until Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
This year, we have:
-
2 candidates running for 1 academic seat
-
4 candidates running for 1 at-large seat
-
7 candidates running for 3 public library trustee seats
-
3 candidates running for 1 school seat
Members can learn about each candidate by reading their profiles or watching their short campaign videos. Each RAILS member library agency will also receive a mailed letter with information about the election, as well as an “I Voted” sticker to wear and share on social media. If you tag us on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, we’ll share it with the rest of our members.
Each RAILS member library agency may cast only one ballot. A library agency is the school district, main public library building, etc., rather than the individual library building or branch. If you need help figuring out who should cast the ballot for your library, view the 2026 RAILS Board Election Guide.
To view candidate profiles and cast your ballot, make sure you are logged in to the RAILS website with your L2 information.
