Directors University (DU) Advanced applications are now being accepted. DU Advanced is a continuation of Directors University and goes beyond the basics to bring the next level of education and knowledge to participants so they can continue to grow as strong Illinois library directors. Priority will be given to directors who attended Directors University Core (formerly DU 1.0) in 2024 or earlier and have not already attended DU Advanced. Directors University Core, Directors University Advanced, and Directors University on Demand are a collaboration between IHLS, ILA, ISL, and RAILS. Applications are due Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
