Now more than ever, libraries are leveraging data to support their work, whether it’s to track circulation and use, guide decision making, or advocate for resources. To do this effectively, library workers need to be experts in not only library and information science but also data and analytics.
Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and the Illinois Library Association (ILA) are teaming up to offer Libraries Count: a full day of hands-on data workshops that cover analysis, visualization, storytelling, and more—all tailored specifically for libraries. There will also be time to network and connect!
When: Monday, October 13, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center - Rosemont, IL
Who: Library workers of all positions, types, and levels are invited.
Capacity is limited to 100 attendees.
Libraries Count is an ILA Annual pre-conference event. Learn more about the event at register via the ILA website.
