We created Find More Illinois (FMI) to make it easier for libraries to share their items with different communities.
As an interlibrary loan platform, FMI provides anyone with the ability to search multiple library catalogs in one place. For some libraries, FMI is an affordable alternative to OCLC for interlibrary loan and a great source of cataloging records.
By the end of 2024, eighty-six participating libraries provided 7.6 million items to the collection. As more libraries join, the collection will grow, and more people can get the titles they want delivered right to their hands.
