Bostrom was named as an School of Information Studies (SOIS) Distinguished Alumni from UWM in 2017 and was elected to the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Board of Directors in 2023.
As Director of Marketing and Communications, Bostrom will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of communication and marketing initiatives to engage all RAILS audiences.
“I’m thrilled that Dan, with years of experience working with libraries of all types, his background in marketing, and his established commitment to the mission of RAILS, will join us in this important role,” said RAILS Executive Director Monica Harris. “Dan has a strong vision for the future of communications and marketing at RAILS, and I’m excited for our next steps forward as an organization.”
Bostrom will work in a dual capacity with his previous position until RAILS can hire his replacement.
