Galesburg Parks and Recreation are back this year offering a discount on their beach and their waterpark. Lake Storey Beach is open to the public for swimming and boat rentals. John boats, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks are available for the public to rent on an hourly basis. Lakeside Water Park is a family-friendly local gem, nestled on the south side of Lake Storey Park. Open Memorial Day through mid-August from 12-6 pm daily. It features a waterslide, a zero-depth pool with a play feature, a 5-foot competitive lap pool, and a concession stand. Guests are able to relax under various shade structures or soak up some sun on our lounge chairs.
