FDL is starting a new lease for our printer/copiers and getting new machines (for the same we’re paying for our current service contract). We owned our current ones outright. They are 5-6 years old. All units are in good working order and have been under full service contracts with GFI Digital. Parts are still readily available for this equipment, and drivers work well with current Windows 11 PCs. GFI noted that they would be willing to establish new service contracts with those organizations that take position of these machines (though you don’t have to have one).
The only caveat would be is that we don’t deliver. 😊 You’d need to send over your facility folks or someone for pick up once we get our new ones in and installed (likely in the next few weeks).
Your library is welcome to one or more of these machines as needed.
