Book lovers of all ages are invited to celebrate storytelling, fellowship, and community at the Author and Book Fair on Wednesday, April 22 at Green Hills Public Library District, 10331 S. Interlochen Drive in Palos Hills from 5:30-7:30pm.

The event will showcase a diverse group of 17 local authors representing multiple genres including fiction, nonfiction, mystery, romance, YA, middle-grade, children’s picture books, graphic novels, comics, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet authors, purchase signed copies of books, discover new voices, and engage in conversations about the writing process and the importance of literacy and storytelling.

“The Author and Book Fair is a chance to spotlight the incredible talent right here in our community,” said Olivia Mullenax, Adult Programming Librarian. “We’re excited to bring people together in a welcoming space that celebrates both readers and writers alike.”

The fair will also feature keynote speaker Amy Gail Hansen, author of The Butterfly Sister and the forthcoming Happier Here With You, to be released in July 2026. The event is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required. For more information, visit greenhillslibrary.org.
