RAILS promotes Stacy Palmisano to Executive Assistant, effective July 14, 2025. Stacy fills the position recently vacated by Emily Bailey, who retired on July 11, 2025.
Stacy first joined RAILS in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the day-to-day needs of RAILS employees and board members. She was promoted to Special Projects Coordinator in 2023, directly supporting RAILS projects that require extensive planning, oversight, and coordination with staff and stakeholders.
Prior to joining RAILS, Stacy worked at the Indian Prairie Public Library as an Administrative Associate and Circulation Services Associate. She has also served on the Indian Prairie Public Library's Board of Trustees since 2023.

As Executive Assistant, Stacy will be responsible for overseeing our team of Administrative Assistants, ensuring that their work is consistent with RAILS policies, guidelines, and procedures.
