OverDrive’s Library Vehicle (LV), previously known as the Digital Bookmobile, will be making a stop at the Morris Area Public Library on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM. This event is part of the "Check Out Your Library" multiyear experiential initiative, aimed at re-establishing connections between communities and their local libraries.
OverDrive, the company behind popular digital content platforms such as Libby, Sora, and Kanopy, launched the "Check Out Your Library" initiative to reverse the decline in library visits that resulted from pandemic-related closures. The LV's coast-to-coast Fiction and Film tour is designed to promote the diverse offerings and transformative power of libraries.
Visitors to the Morris Area Public Library will have the unique opportunity to step inside the LV and explore how to check out ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, TV shows, and more for free using Libby, Sora, and Kanopy.
