The Illinois State Library (ISL) has been contacting libraries with news about the statewide e-resource package. The contract for this package has been finalized with EBSCO. This e-resource package will be available to all Illinois communities without any charge. We have attached a list of all included EBSCO databases.
To help implement the program, ISL is collecting data to share with EBSCO. There are two different surveys:
- Public/academic/special libraries survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QR83D8H
- School libraries survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VN9LSX8
To complete the survey, libraries will need to provide their agency and branch number. For more information on how to find these statewide library identifiers, please see our recent news article.
The Illinois State Library has asked libraries to refrain from announcing the program to patrons until it is publicly launched later this summer.
