24th Annual Information Literacy Summit Registration Now Open!

Hello information professionals, and students!

Registration is now open for the 24th annual Information Literacy Summit on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Discounted early bird rates are available through April 3rd.

The Summit, co-hosted by the College of DuPage Library and the DePaul University Library, is the only regional conference of its kind in the state of Illinois. For over twenty years, the Summit has provided practical, affordable professional development and networking for librarians from area community colleges, universities, high schools, and public libraries.   The theme for this year’s program is Skepticism (Not Cynicism): Navigating Knowledge in a Time of Uncertainty—speaking to how libraries foster curiosity, evidence-based questioning, and informed engagement.

An event highlight, we are delighted to bring Keynote Speaker Teresa Helena Moreno, Assistant Professor and Reference Librarian at the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois, to present, "Critique as Optimism: Re-imagining Information", addressing the practice of action-oriented investigation in alignment with the Summit’s theme.

In addition to our keynote, your registration includes a breakfast, lunch, a coffee break, and, of course, an engaging program of breakout sessions, lightning talks, and roundtable discussions.

 Reserve your spot today!
