The Putnam County Public Library District is thrilled to announce that on Tuesday, July 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the public is invited to stop by Hopkins Park in Granville, Illinois, to visit the Illinois Natural History Survey (INHS) Traveling Science Center as part of the Library’s 2024 Summer Program, “Read, Renew, Repeat.”
The INHS Traveling Science Center is a 320 square foot mobile classroom for youth and adults that features informational and engaging hands-on exhibits about Illinois biodiversity and natural resources. Visitors will learn about habitats, flora and fauna of Illinois by exploring interactive, educational panels, stunning displays, props and handouts.
The event is free, open to the public, and is made possible through generous support by Boggio’s Orchard & Produce, Financial Plus Credit Union, Granville National Bank, and North Central Bank.
