Alebrijes Exhibit Kicks Off at Gail Borden Public Library

Twenty fantastical, colorful animals will feel right at home in the home of imaginary stories, the Gail Borden Public Library. Previously at Cantigny Park, these creatures from the Mexican Cultural Center of Dupage will be on display at the Library from September 9 through January 7, 2024.

Elgin Mayor David Kaptain proclaimed, "... the months of September-December, 2023, as the "Months of the Abebrijes; in Elgin, Illinois," at the kick-off on September 12.  There are many more activities planned in the coming weeks and months.

The Alebrijes will be at Gail Borden Library through January 7, 2024.
