50th Anniversary Celebration
The Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library invite the RAILS library community as it celebrates its 50 year Anniversary. Join us on Friday, May 5 as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the passing of the referendum that established the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library District. There will be live music from Crawford's Daughter, refreshments and prize giveaways for district residents -- along with a visit from Pete the Cat! Enjoy refreshments and conversation with the Library Board, Library Director and staff members. Board President Mary McKendree was an original Board member in 1973 and is currently serving as Board President.
